Join the Carter Lake Preservation Society today and donate money to the cause. 
 
The CLPS is run entirely by volunteers and all funding goes to further lake preservation activities.  You can contribute finacially in two ways:
 
1)  Pay membership fees to help with annual administrative expenses.
 
2)  Contribute to the Capital Fund for the Lake Recharge Project.
 
Show how much you care about the lake and become active by completing the donor and membership form below and sending it to Joan Harder, Treasurer of Carter Lake Preservation Society.

Capital Funding . . . . . Fill the Lake by 2008
 
Because of the low lake levels, the Carter Lake Preservation Society is identifying alternatives to ensure a constant lake level at a height of 970.3 mean sea level +/- .5 feet.
 
The Capital Fund for the recharge system has started.  We are getting proposals (see links below.)  
 
Also, we are raising money from very special people who care about Carter Lake.  See the list of donors and members below.

Membership fees are used for on-going administrative expenses such as postage, printing, advertising, grant writing, annual lake clean up, web site support and other promotional activities.  Memberships are collected annually.
